Job Summary for the Dining Room Supervisor:
The Dining Room Supervisor will have various duties related to the scheduling, supervising and training of dining associates including preparing weekly staffing schedule, ensuring coverage for all shifts, and wait tables alongside wait staff, working with wait staff on all aspects of dining room set-up, assisting with training new wait staff, assisting with interviews, training and reviews as request by the Culinary Director.
This position is highly interactive with the community's residents. The Dining Room Supervisor should be involved in all dining rooms during mealtimes and be there to assist residents and staff with any issues that may arise in order to ensure that the residents get their daily meals in a respectful and timely fashion while adhering to the dietary guidelines. This position is a direct liaison to the Culinary Director as it relates to associate morale, feedback, promoting and maintaining a positive work environment.
