Working under the supervision of the Dining Room Manager, the Dining Room Floor Supervisor is responsible for assisting Dining Room Manager in all operational details of set-ups, supervision and clean up for catering and special events. Also Supervises completion of daily delivery services.
Job responsibilities include:

• Assures that courteous, prompt service is provided by the wait staff.
• Helps prepare wait staff time schedules for proper coverage of service in the dining room and for catering and special events.
• Prepares wait staff time schedules for proper coverage of service in the dining room and for catering and special events.
• Instructs wait staff in proper dining room etiquette and procedures.
• Supervises proper cleaning of the dining room after each meal and assures that all tables have a proper place setting.
• Works and Supervises completion of daily delivery services.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in an institutional food service or restaurant situation required in a hostess or host position.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Comfortable and capable of working independently while cultivating the spirit of teamwork and service with the team members and residents of Paradise Valley Estates.
• Cheerful and outgoing personality.
• Able to pass a Department of Social Services background check and drug screening.
• May be required to work some weekends and holidays.
