Our RN Supervisors support the culture of McHarrie life by:

• Supervises assigned personnel to ensure that nursing care services are being provided in accordance with regulations, policies, procedures, and good practice, and are effectively meeting the needs of the residents.
• Meets with staff under his/her supervision, on a regular basis, to communicate facility information, to identify and correct problem areas and to improve nursing services.

• Attends, participates in and completes all mandatory in-service education/training as required by the facility and state regulations.
• Assists the Director of Nursing in making any necessary adjustments in nursing operations.

Required qualities for successful RN Supervisors:

• A current and valid NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum four years' experience, with at least two years of experience in a nursing leadership role; minimum of one year experience in a long term care facility preferred.
• Broad knowledge of nursing, including, and understanding of the aging process and the psychosocial/physical care needs of the elderly and disabled.

Job Types: Per diem, Part-time

Pay: $33.00 - $39.80 per hour
