Direct Mail Specialist jobs in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with 3 years construction accounting experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!  

Salary is between $60,000 -$62,000 per year (based on experience)

In this role you will be a part of the accounts payable team who are responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and all other accounting functions, as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable using Sage 300 CRE and other programs.
• Handling accounts payable for separate vendors.
• Maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Ensuring bills and payroll are entered in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
• Reconcile vendor statements/agings to ensure completeness.
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
• All other duties, as assigned

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in construction accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions.
• Understanding of specialty contractor business practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• At least three years of construction accounting experience with at least 2 years of A/P.
• Sage 300 experience is a plus.
• Must work from Corporate Offices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida 5 days a week.
