Doherty Staffing is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Crookston, MN. We are seeking candidates for Lead Bus Specialist roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these direct hire opportunities is $$68,000-$72,450 per year, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!

What the Lead Bus Specialist will do:

• Investigate and resolve electrical and programming issues encountered on the production line during electrical checkout
• Participate in electrical checkouts of the first bus built on each order
• Create and release programming updates and other engineering solutions
• Support issue resolution using J1939 network traffic analysis
• Execute in-plant testing of electrical and programming solutions as required by colleagues
• Support supplier application approvals, vendor tests, config audits, and other online activities
• Provide general status of online builds, identify, and address potential roadblocks preventing deliveries
• Support ongoing process improvement initiatives

What you’ll need to be a Lead Bus Specialist:

• 4-year degree in electrical engineering/technology, business, or equivalent experience
• 2 years of equivalent related industry/technology experience is preferred
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
• Knowledge of high-voltage systems
• Ability to communicate professionally and work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
