Summary

The Mail Center Specialist aims to serve the staff and members of Samaritan Ministries International (SMI) by processing incoming and outgoing mail, executing in-house printing services, maintaining an accurate filing system, and to provide support services to all other departments within the ministry as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing incoming mail, which includes the opening, sorting, and processing of mail.
• Printing, preparing, and sending outgoing mail, including both daily and monthly mailing jobs.
• Filing member and need paperwork in document storage facility.
• Provide an array of supportive services to all other departments within the ministry

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED. (High school diploma)
• Staff are required to possess applicable knowledge to bring value to SMI in this role, know and utilize resources well, ask questions to ensure full understanding. gain and retain knowledge to keep up with changes, and accept and engage with training to grow knowledge for current and future responsibilities.

• Maintain confidentiality in the handling, distribution of, and filing of sensitive documents containing private and personal information.

Additional Information

• Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer and mouse and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
• May need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs on occasion.
