    General Description:

    The Procurement Director is an integral role in the Supply Chain Department that supports Sales, Engineering, and Operations. From start to finish, the ideal candidate is responsible for the management of the company’s procurement process, maximizing vendor value and mitigating risks.  As a strategic liaison between stakeholders and vendors, this role not only sources and procures products through the cultivation of vendor partnerships, ensuring the Company’s ROIs, but it also oversees Stage 3’s new inventory system’s data collection, management, and compliance.

     Essential Functions:

    -Oversee and perform the full range of procurement activities in support of various corporate functional areas.

    -Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders engaged in Supply Chain activities to fully understand the scope of their procurement needs.

    -Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness

    -Monitor market trends, as well as global economic conditions, as they change and evolve.

    -Organize and standardize vendor data.

    -Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations, implementing corrective actions, when necessary.

    -Stay up to date on industry best practices to make informed decisions and maintain a competitive advantage.

    -Assess current practices and collect information, analyzing trends to determine organizational objectives.

    -Develop and implement standardized procurement strategies.

    -Drive improvement in procurement processes, including the implementation of procurement technologies and tools.

    -Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.

    -Lead the Purchasing & Inventory Committee (PIC): standardizing part numbers, procurement processes, and documentation.

    -Work with Shop Managers and Operation teams to ensure full understanding of specs, schedules, and projects and field needs.

    -Provide guidance to Leadership, such as Operations’ Senior VPs and Area Managers, on procurement protocols.

    -Ensure procurement policy compliance, reviewing past purchases and existing vendor partnerships.

    -Assist in the development of the Company’s new Asset Management system.

    -Oversee inventory management.

    -Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

    -Develop and maintain key procurement data analytics and dashboards

    -Monitor and track internal performance metrics and report findings to executives.

    -Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement activities.

    -Extensive knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiating terms.

    -Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with executives, management, coworkers, and vendor representatives.

    -Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills.

    -Proactive and self-motivated team player with proven record of collaboration for success.

    -Strong analytical mindset that translates to operational strategies.

    -Must also have the ability to identify critical issues and formulate action plans with all levels of management. 

    -Experience with driving value through understanding market dynamics along with working knowledge of category management principles.

    -Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

    -Scrum and Jira experience, highly desirable.

    Minimum Required Education, Credentials, Licenses and Experience:

    -Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or equivalent.

    -10 years of relevant procurement experience.

    -Proven record in commercial terms negotiation and cost reduction.

    -Leadership experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement.

    -Demonstrated ability to manage/lead multiple projects.

    -Experience in oil and gas industry preferred.
