  • We are looking for a motivated, friendly and warm Certified Montessori Toddler Guide for the 2024 – 2025 school year. School begins September 3, 2024, training and class set up begins August 26, 2023. We are seeking a Montessori certified teacher who will guide our Toddler class. Our ideal candidate would be a team player, who wants to make the difference in the lives of children. Have a strong knowledge of child development principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with young children.

    Hours are 8:00 – 3:30, class hours 8:45 – 12:45, nap until 3:00. Class limited to 14 children with a trained assistant. Pay starts at $34.75 per hour, we offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.

    Job expectations include planning a Montessori curriculum, setting up, maintaining and creating works, collaborating with staff, working with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education, maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom, preparing conferences and record keeping among other duties.

    Requirements: Montessori Infant & Toddler Certified, previous experience working with young children is preferred, Merit certified, completed back ground check, food handlers permit, TB cleared, yearly safe sleep training, 30 initial training hours or educational exemption and 10 Merit credits per year. MMR & Covid vaccination. CPR, First aid and BBP training will be provided during training week.
