    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    You will promote and represent Sylvan Learning and your team’s ability to help students and families in your community. You will consult with inquiring families regarding their needs and evaluate to determine strategies for academic success. You will perform basic local marketing activities and represent Sylvan within your communities. You will lead your team in fulfilling specific revenue, operational and academic goals and objectives. You will responsible for enrollments, revenues, and general business performance within your community.


    General Duties:

    • Conduct daily consultations with incoming prospective customers.
    • Perform and direct the sales process, including enrollments and customer service.
    • Recommend goal-based programs and manage the monitoring of performance.
    • Engage in marketing activities to increase awareness in your community.
    • Monitor and track center performance: Revenues, expenses, academics, etc.
    • Participate as a member of the local Leadership Team.
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with teachers, educational specialists and other school administrators and parent/teacher organizations.
    • Help hire, train, manage, and motivate the center and satellite employees.
    • Partner with the Executive Director, other Directors and associates to assist other communities and the company’s overall success.
    • Demonstrate and uphold a high level of staff morale and spirit; ensure the professional standards of all personnel and the general appearance of your center.
    • Create positive learning environment by modeling motivational behavior in the center for staff, students and parents, during all phases of the Sylvan experience.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor Degree strongly desired or commensurate experience
    • Excellent sales skills (natural or trained) with a desire to develop
    • Ultimate professional with a competitive drive to achieve

    • Great organizational and scheduling abilities
    • General business and education system understanding
