Job Summary/Description:
KOLO 8 News Now has an opening for an experienced executive news producer. The newscast must be produced in an ethically sound manner while maintaining energy and creativity. The executive producer needs to have excellent writing skills, good news judgment, strong decision-making and leadership skills.
The executive producer is responsible for supervising the morning producers and reporters, helping make creative or editorial decisions, updating the website and social media, and overseeing the execution of morning newscasts. This job requires writing content for the newscast and online, arranging stories, and helping contribute story ideas and pitches.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Two or more years of newsroom experience and a degree in journalism or another related field are required. Experience with ENPS is a plus.
