Job Summary

Perform installation tasks for audiovisual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects, and metal fabrication

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform installation tasks for audiovisual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects, AV equipment install, Lighting equipment install, and work on elevated platforms and lifts
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
• Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks
• Assist with basic equipment setup and basic rack wiring
• Lighting and Video support structure installations
• Test point to point functionality of systems
• Field installation of control programs - upload and download capability
• Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer
• Strong work ethic and precise attention to detail
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well independently and in team settings
• Basic knowledge of low voltage and audio/video components
• Computer/networking knowledge with a proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
• Ability to interpret floor plans and various technical schematics
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools
• Construction experience/knowledge preferred
• Lighting Control Experience: For example ETC, MA, Onyx, Hog
• Video Control Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
