Director of International Education leads and directs all aspects of the institution's international programs. Oversees programs, activities, faculty affairs, and academic support services. Being a Director of International Education develops and implements strategies to attract and retain students and faculty. Oversees the operations of the study abroad and foreign exchange programs, the international admissions process, and English language programs. Additionally, Director of International Education ensures that the curriculum remains current and is in compliance with accreditation standards. Monitors the documentation and visa application processes. Oversees the departmental budget and management of expenditures throughout the year. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Director of International Education typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. This WIS team works with a select group of specialty retailers and provides focused inventory solutions for their unique business in the discount retail space. The Retail Merchandising Associate performs tasks including but not limited to reading and acting on plan-o-grams, merchandise/product relocation, cleaning and resetting of shelves/pegs, repositions/restocks new product, and replacing, cleaning or relocating shelf tags. They may occasionally work on setting up new signage or displays, based on the needs of the customer and should be comfortable with following detailed instructions. Working Conditions
This position requires the ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs., to stand for prolonged periods and the ability to use hands and wrists regularly including repetitive motions. It is also required to work in low-level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching, as well as frequent standing. Regular travel is required via plane or automobile, including overnight stays (up to 90% of the time)
