Director of International Education leads and directs all aspects of the institution's international programs. Oversees programs, activities, faculty affairs, and academic support services. Being a Director of International Education develops and implements strategies to attract and retain students and faculty. Oversees the operations of the study abroad and foreign exchange programs, the international admissions process, and English language programs. Additionally, Director of International Education ensures that the curriculum remains current and is in compliance with accreditation standards. Monitors the documentation and visa application processes. Oversees the departmental budget and management of expenditures throughout the year. Requires a bachelor's degree. Pearl Arts promises to inspire the imaginations of children across Northeast Indiana for generations, igniting a community-wide passion for the arts. But that begins with the individual. The Ideal Candidate
It is crucial for the Pearl Street Arts Center Education Director to epitomize a commitment to providing the best instructional environment possible. The Education Director will oversee all education programs, direct day-to-day operations within the Music Academy, and strategically plan all ancillary events, including recitals, weekly classes, camps, and promotions. An ideal candidate must embrace their role as a leader, showcasing an infectious enthusiasm for employees to emulate.
As the sole full-time employee, the Director will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and training all contracted Academy and education program employees and instructors. This position will function as the primary point of contact for customers and personnel. As such, the Education Director will be expected to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, all while maintaining composure, a positive outlook, and a focus on equitable solutions. An open-minded approach to novel and unconventional solutions is essential.
