• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and 2 years’ experience
• Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills

• Willingness to partner with church and school leadership to develop and implement a safe, effective, quality program

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate independence and foster cooperative communities among international students within the dormitory
• Create a safe and secure learning environment for all residents
• Enforce safety protocols (e.g. sign in/out sheets)
• Manage and organize outings including weekly (e.g. Walmart) and per-student (e.g. doctor’s visits) events
• Oversee academic support initiatives for students (e.g. homework)
• Supervise RA’s, student staff and manage facilities
• Address student conduct issues and provide crisis intervention when necessary
• Develop and maintain healthy and professional relationships with students, families, agencies and campus departments
• Responsible for the overall administration and operations of the dormitory
• Supervise multiple student employees
• Attend monthly staff meetings
• Supervise the remittance of required HR paperwork from RA’s
• Assist with summer conferences/projects as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned by administration/ pastoral staff

This position reports to the President of Life Prep Academy.
