Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare machines for production operations per routings, work orders, production reports, etc.
- Direct, including but not limited to, die and tool placement, material location, and first part approval process.
- Assist machine operator(s) in trouble-shooting non-conformance issues.
- Work in a safe and healthy manner, strictly following all safety rules and regulations.
- Communicate safety rules and practices to all machine operators and employees involved in set-up and operations of machines.
- Immediately report tool, die, or material non-conformance to Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor.
- Accurately complete paperwork required for production records (labor reporting, move tickets, SPC charts, etc.).
- Maintain a neat, clean orderly work area.
- Complete company provided training.
- Participate in PCI process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Experience, & Education- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of in-house machine set-up courses/attends further education courses as required.
- Thorough knowledge of operations, mechanical functions and controls for all positions within assigned department required.
- Ability to read and understand routings, work orders, and production reports.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- General machining experience.
- CNC milland lathe experience.
- Navigationofcomputer programs; touch screens.
- Schedule: Rotating schedule, alternate weekends.
- Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm
