**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Examiner to join our team. The Title Examiner will be responsible for examining public records and property titles to ensure their legal validity. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of financial services and real estate transactions.
**Duties:**
- Conduct comprehensive research and examination of property titles
- Review legal documents such as deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, and easements
- Analyze title records to identify any issues or discrepancies
- Collaborate with title underwriters, and other stakeholders to resolve title-related concerns
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and changes to the law
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and underwriting guidelines
**Experience:**
- Proven experience as a Title Examiner or similar role
- Familiarity with escrow processes and procedures
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Previous experience in title examination or related field preferred
- Familiarity with 10-key typing and basic math skills
- Knowledge of loan processing, credit analysis, and underwriting processes
- Understanding of banking procedures and terminology
- Ability to interpret complex legal documents accurately

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of real estate contracts and transactions
- Experience with 10-key typing for data entry tasks
