Disability Support Services
The Disability Support Services Assistant, under the supervision of Assistant Director of DSS, will support Disability Support Services (DSS) Unit.
This position is responsible for answering/maintaining the DSS appointment line, replying to general questions submitted to the DSS inbox, and assisting students and community members who may have general questions regarding DSS. This position will schedule/coordinate appointments and reminder calls for DSS. This position will maintain DSS files by collecting/preparing documentation for review and filing forms/documents. This position will assist in preparing and issuing accommodation forms for students. Maintain/check the DSS drop box. On occasion, this person may deliver DSS items to departments on campus as well as order DSS forms/supplies (in conjunction with the Student Success Office Manager) and serve a lab assistant for students with disabilities. Perform other related duties as assigned.
