Disaster Recovery Administrator implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Administrator identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Administrator confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
College degree desired or four (4) years in cleaning / restoration industry with a High School or GED is desireable (not mandatory). With team leader or supervisory responsibility experience preferred.
Advanced technical skills, experience, and certification in the area of contents packing and processing.
Adequate math skills. Able to quickly and effectively translate remaining work into manpower planning, project completion times, and review and assess labor time reporting. Effectively project job costs based on work remaining.
Demonstrates intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of computers and computer software, especially MS Word and Excel. Experience with Xactimate software is a plus
Effective in receiving feedback and input from employees, probing for additional information or unspoken issues and providing timely response.
