Disaster Recovery Administrator implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Administrator identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Administrator confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Qualifications:
    Position Summary
    Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on Skywood Recovery buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment. (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of licensed maintenance workers.)
    • Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects belts, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, greases bearings, seals, etc.; repairs or replaces broken parts.
    • Cleans and inspects heating and air conditioning units.
    • Replaces broken windows; repairs doors, door locks and closets; installs window blinds.
    • Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
    • Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed.
    • Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required
    • Assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures.
    • Performs outside custodial duties such as snow removal and lawn maintenance as required.
    • May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed.
    • Performs all other duties as required or assigned.

    • Understands need for and maintains appropriate confidentiality at all times when interacting with patients, residents, families, visitors, referral sources and all other contacts.
    Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (can substitute education for one year of responsible experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair; or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience).
    • Good skill in the use of hand and power tools.
    Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl; and talk; or hear.
    • Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 100 pounds.
    • Ability to be physically mobile, climb stairs, traverse the campus on uneven, hilly terrain.
    • Ability to work outdoors in possible extreme weather conditions.
    • A current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is required for use of company vehicles.
    • Due to the 24/7 operational demands, must be available after normal working hours and on holidays to manage emergencies that may arise.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.
    • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.
