Disaster Recovery Administrator implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Administrator identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Administrator confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     We are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team of dedicated caregiving staff. The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our medium-sized Assisted Living and Memory Care community.

    Every day is new and exciting, and it will involve the following:

    • Provide direct and indirect supervision of the community operation along with training, coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations of all staff members.
    • Oversee the recruitment and retention of qualified staff, making sure all regulatory required documents are received and all initial and ongoing training is completed and maintained. Monitor and maintain that appropriate staffing levels are in place.
    • Motivate employees through staff appreciation, recognition, and incentive programs. Promote positive employee relations, addressing concerns timely and resolve grievances as quickly as reasonably possible.
    • Ensure that the nursing services provided meet the needs of the residents in accordance with the developed care plans and that the care plans meet the required State codes and company policies. Always follow and maintain State regulatory requirements in all areas.
    • Be responsive to residents, families, and involved parties with patience, compassion, and cooperation.
    • Ensure that the census expectations are met and that the resident move-in process, from start to finish, is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Patience, compassion, and cooperation is always in the forefront.

    Qualifications

    • A degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, Business, or other related field is preferred.
    • Must have, or be willing to obtain an Oregon Administrator Certification for Assisted Living.
    • 3-5 years of management or healthcare related experience preferred. Should have knowledge and understanding of Oregon’s Assisted Living regulations, quality standards, and referral sources.
    • Must pass a criminal background check at the point a job offer is made and accepted.
    • Should be proficient with Windows operating systems, and prior experience with YARDI a plus.
