Disaster Recovery Administrator implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Administrator identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Administrator confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Administrator work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Tetra Tech Inc. Is currently seeking a Regional Program Manager with experience in disaster recovery programs including the FEMA Public Assistance Program, HUD’s Community Development Block Grant Program, U.S. Treasury, as well as other state and federal programs associated with disaster response and recovery. In this role, the selected candidate will market Tetra Tech disaster recovery program management and consulting services to other businesses in the disaster recovery space and federal government clients and provide routine follow-up to ensure that projects are meeting client expectations.
Location: Ideal candidates for consideration will be those who reside in Florida or willing to relocate to Florida if selected.
Travel required: Onsite client management as well as working from a Tetra Tech office if geographically available or from home office in the state of Florida.
Specific activities associated with this position shall include:
- Foster new and existing Tetra Tech client relationships with other businesses within the industry with an emphasis on expanding Tetra Tech’s disaster recovery client base nationally.
- Develop business opportunities that meet Tetra Tech goals and objectives at a national or regional level.
- Meet assigned goals and work closely with Tetra Tech technical staff to deliver high-quality, cost-effective work products for our clients.
- Preparing proposals, project cost estimates, and client interview documents.
- Successfully assist target clients in the planning and timely implementation of their projects.
- Communicate with senior leadership staff from clients including elected officials.
- Interface with federal, state and local officials as required to support clients’ needs.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts.
- Support other Tetra Tech staff assigned to projects.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate should have experience with public speaking to include delivering presentations and facilitating meetings as well as working with government officials and businesses within the disaster recovery industry.
- Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and good mathematical skills.
