JOB SUMMARY: The Administrator is responsible for daily operations within parameters of established policies and procedures and in keeping with the philosophy and mission of the Family Service Communities. The Administrator will lead the operations of their set facility including supervision of employees, managing an efficient facility, ensuring census management, creating, and maintaining a superior level of resident satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires proven leadership competencies, strong commitment to teamwork and associated skills and abilities in communication, collaboration, creative problem solving and networking. Knowledge of the community, competition, local market and referral resources would be critical to success. The candidate is expected to be highly visible in both the FSC internal community and external market place so must be able to demonstrate the ability to interact courteously and effectively with staff, residents, members, families, visitors, vendors and the general public. Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, along with excellent organizational skills would be expected. Must have a valid New York State driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be a role model of FSC values.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: A Master’s degree in health care management with 3-5 years related work experience or a Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5-10 years of experience in a health care or housing environment.
