Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Administrator identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Administrator confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. RECOVERY SPECIALIST
Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for a Recovery Specialist. This position provides support services to consumers residing in the community or in a permanent housing setting of a supported housing program. Services include placement, landlord negotiations, financial assistance, crisis intervention and basic living skills training and support in the least restrictive environment. Services are designed to promote independent living and mental health stability.
Education:
Bachelor's degree is required. Human Services related field preferred. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.
Experience:
Minimum of one year experience working with the severely mentally ill, community services and resources experience with property management/ tenant-landlord issues preferred
Knowledge:
Knowledge of counseling techniques and mental illness.
Skills & Abilities:
Good skills and demonstrated abilities in verbal and written communications, coordination/cooperation, follow-through, interpersonal relations, attention to detail, use of basic language and math, following verbal and written procedures and instructions, recording information orally and in writing, internal and external public relations, working independently, verbal and physical crisis intervention techniques, planning, problem solving, negotiating, flexibility to change, decision making, scheduling own and others' work, counseling techniques and evaluation techniques, organizing own and others' work and such others that are usually and customarily considered necessary for satisfactory completion of essential duties.
