Disaster Recovery Analyst jobs in Boca Raton, FL

Resilience Recovery Resources is an all male, young adult aftercare facility; consisting of outpatient treatment and a sober living facility, we treat substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders. Our population is 16-24. We are a tightly knit team and care for a vulnerable population in a transition phase of their lives. Communication, collaboration, strong boundaries, and empathy are extremely important. Recovery Advocates are on the front lines of treating our population.

We are seeking a male part-time or full-time Recovery Advocate, mostly for PM shifts and weekend shifts. PM shifts are 4pm-12am. Swing shifts may also be required from time to time: 10am-6pm and 12pm-8pm, weekend availability for PM or AM shifts (8am-4pm). Recovery Advocate duties include but are not limited to:

• Expedite room checks and chore responsibilities
• Expedite drug testing for MALE clients. Must be able to observe MALE clients.
• Expedite observation of clients taking medication and proper documentation
• Follow all policies and procedures of documentation – observing and noting all unusual client activity, incident reports and any behavior that might need a clinical intervention
• Enforce boundaries, rules and policies with clients; hold them accountable while providing client support; and redirect behavior
• Transport clients to all housing/clinical groups and necessary activities and outside appointments. Properly document whereabouts
• Inform management of any client needs or appointments
• Support with cleaning and maintenance of all properties and properly documenting anything that needs attention
• Go with clients to 12-step/support meetings and supervise their engagement
• Handle all responsibilities as directed by supervisors
• Complete shift reports for each shift managed
• Be present for all indicated Staff Meetings, Trainings, and any House Meetings during their shift
• Ability to problem solve

Experience in treatment is preferred but not necessary, willing to train for position. Requirements include:

• At least a High school diploma or equivalent expected.
• Must have at least 9 months sober (if in recovery)
• Must have a valid driver's license and car insurance and reliable transportation to get to work.
• Must have great communication and problem-solving skills and ability to take direction.
• Must have no previous or active criminal charges (off parole/probation for at least 3 years) that would disqualify them from working with adolescents/passing a Level 2 background check with DCF.
