Continuity and Disaster Recovery will be responsible for developing and
maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery programs. This position will report to the Business Continuity and
Disaster Recovery Officer and work within the Governance, Compliance,
and Risk Section of the Information Security Office
Responsibilities :
149; Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery programs
149; Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure that all business
plan.
149; Work closely with state agencies to identify their business continuity and
disaster recovery needs.
149; Develop and deliver training programs on business continuity and disaster
recovery best practices to state agencies.
149; Test and evaluate the effectiveness of business continuity and disaster
recovery plans and make recommendations for improvements.
149; Work closely with the Information Security Office and other stakeholders
to ensure that the business continuity and disaster recovery programs are
aligned with the overall security program
149; Complete and maintain the business impact analysis (BIA) to enable the
development of the business continuity plan.
149; Coordinate and participate in exercises and simulations to test the
effectiveness of the business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
149; Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in the
field of business continuity and disaster recovery.
149; Provide timely reports and updates to the Business Continuity and
Disaster Recovery Officer on the status of the programs.
Qualifications :
149; Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a
related field.
149; Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity and disaster
recovery
program development.
149; Experience working in a government or public sector environment is
preferred.
149; Strong understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery
principles,
methodologies, and best practices.
149; Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-3
and FEMA's
Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG) 101.
149; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to wor
effectively
with stakeholders at all levels.
149; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
149; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
149; Relevant certifications such as CBCP, MBCP, or DRCE are preferred.
