Disaster Recovery Analyst implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Being an Disaster Recovery Analyst identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. Develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Analyst confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Disaster Recovery Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Position Summary
    An individual in this role will serve as the bridge between operational needs and the technology available to fill those needs quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively. This individual will interact with stakeholders across the organization, understand business process, identify improvement opportunities, prioritize company efforts on high-impact projects and ensure desired results are achieved. The ability to communicate effectively, manage indirect resources while also participating as a contributor is paramount to success.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities
    • Understand and document business needs through direct interaction with Operations and Clients.
    • Facilitate organization wide process improvement initiatives.
    • Apply an understanding of the capabilities of technology to solve business problems.
    • Collaborate with internal and external users to understand and document business needs.
    • Design and implement solutions within approved technology toolsets that are reliable, scalable, and meet business needs
    • Complete testing and validation of both individually and peer work to ensure quality solutions.
    • Facilitate functionality reviews and user acceptance testing with stakeholders.
    • Ensures smooth transition of solutions to production, and user acceptance, by providing training and other support as needed.
    • Troubleshoots production issues and bugs to affect timely resolution and minimize business impact.
    • Follows the CRFS System Development Life Cycle in all development activities.
    • Documents all work and associated efforts within CRFS work management system.
    • Updates job knowledge by seeking educational opportunities; reading professional publications and taking on a diverse set of assignments.
    • Other responsibilities as required by business needs and delegated by senior analysts

    Qualifications

    • Prior experience in one or more of the following technologies: SQL Development, Database Development, or SSRS.
    • Knowledge on database T-SQL, stored procedures, basic administration
    • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
    • Strong analytical skills, as well as customer service.
    • Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
    • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work independently.
    • Strong communication skills; demonstrating professionalism, patience, and respect through verbal and written tone.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
