Disaster Recovery Director leads the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Disaster Recovery Director leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Director supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to top management. The Disaster Recovery Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     OneFifteen is an Ohio-based nonprofit organization with a mission to heal individuals experiencing substance use disorder (SUD) through learning, science, and partnership. OneFifteen operates a 4.5 acre tech-enabled ecosystem in Dayton, Ohio, offering a comprehensive spectrum of SUD treatment services. The Dayton Medical Director of OneFifteen will have administrative and clinical time working in the ecosystem and will have the opportunity to help the organization expand high-quality SUD treatment services across multiple levels of care. The position will report to the OneFifteen Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and a dotted line to the OneFifteen Chief Operating Officer (COO).

    OneFifteen’s Dayton Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing the care of patients who receive care within our services. He/She will work collaboratively with other clinical team members to provide best practice care with an innovative spirit. The Dayton Medical Director will be comfortable working in ambiguous situations and will blend best in class care delivery models with advanced technology solutions to engage care team members, improve outcomes, and reduce costs, under the guidance/direction of the COO and CMO of OneFifteen.

    The Dayton Medical Director will monitor and improve the overall level of care for SUD patients while at the same time reduce operating costs to drive the highest level value.

    Responsibilities

    50% Administrative

    • Oversee the care delivery and supervision of medical services offered across the continuum of care (including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential services).
    • Oversee and coordinate care provided by the Dayton-based medical provider team, including other physicians and advanced practice providers.
    • Design and implement fully integrated clinical pathways and clinical order sets across stakeholder groups including patients, medical and clinical staff, caregivers, care coordinators, and care advocates.
    • Recommend and implement an appropriate system for on-call coverage among OneFifteen’s medical providers.
    • Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for physicians and advanced practice providers.
    • Oversee the quality of care metrics to provide best practices and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Attend weekly OneFifteen staff meetings
    • Facilitate Dayton based provider meetings
    • Support development of clinical and technical solutions.
    • Partner with OneFifteen staff to ensure state and federal compliance with all clinical work and ensure accreditation standards are met, and that medical staff adhere to these standards.
    • Assist in the development, integration and implementation of EHR to deliver clinically sound and efficient care, and to track outcomes.
    • Establish or approve policies and procedures on clinical issues including, but not limited to, diagnostic processes, medication protocols, integrated care models, treatment of communicable diseases, clinical protocols, and other aspects of medical practice.
    • Develop and maintain a system to monitor the cost-effectiveness of health services provided and implement health care cost reduction measures as appropriate.
    • Assist in the training and promotion of the medical staff and, when needed, in remediation of staff.
    • Ensure that licenses are up to date, thus preventing termination of services.
    • Represent the agency within professional medical organizations and other stakeholder groups.

    50% Direct Clinical Care

    • Provide direct patient care in one or more clinical settings at OneFifteen (e.g., outpatient, urgent care, residential). There is flexibility in choice of clinical settings, with cross-coverage across the spectrum of care.
    • Participate in an on-call rotation with other medical providers.
    • Serve as the collaborating physician for advanced practice providers, and provide case review and mentorship for those providers.
    • Supervise medical students, residents, and fellows, once these training relationships have been established with OneFifteen.

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) with 4-6 years practicing addiction medicine, delivering best in class results, for enhancing patient health and well-being, increasing patient satisfaction and reducing healthcare costs.
    • Board certification in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or related field.
    • A current medical license in the state of Ohio and a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
    • Experience using a range of health information technology solutions to support care delivery (e.g. electronic medical records, clinical decision support, telemedicine)
    • Experience in quality improvement initiatives
    • Belief in a harm-reduction, no-wrong-door approach to SUD care.
    • Passion for new technologies and design of next-generation models of care to enable the shift towards value based payments.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Previous medical director level experience
    • Proven ability to work with clinical teams to drive excellent outcomes
    • Experience leveraging digital patient engagement solutions as a core component of care delivery workflows
    • Experience with EMR/EHR workflow integration for health IT solutions
    • Experience overseeing quality and compliance work/committees
    • Population Health Management in the form of developing and implementing care gap programs and working with referral groups
    • Proven track record for building positive relationships with care team

    Time Commitment & Malpractice Insurance:

    This is a 32-40 hour per week position (0.8-1.0 FTE). It is anticipated that this will primarily be a Monday through Friday, business hour position, though some flexibility and availability after hours may be needed. Alternative arrangements could be considered. OneFifteen is committed to maintaining an appropriate malpractice insurance policy for which the Dayton Medical Director will be named insured - at no expense to the provider.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $170,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
