Disaster Recovery Director leads the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Disaster Recovery Director leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Director supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to top management. The Disaster Recovery Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Disaster Recovery Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • The Recovery Center of Ohio’s mission is to help individuals recover from mental health and substance use disorders. We are an agency committed to quality gender-responsive, trauma-informed care to clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders. The Licensed Therapist provides critical mental health outpatient counseling, assessment and referral services to clients in a manner that reflects the agencies mission.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct screening interviews to determine the need for assessment and for emergent care services; make referrals to appropriate health and human services agencies as needed based on the outcome of the screening interview
    • Conduct confidential, quality biopsychosocial assessments;
    • Use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to work collaboratively with clients and internal and external team members to help support clients in their treatment and recovery
    • Provide individual, family, and crisis counseling services
    • Provide clinical consultation to referral resources, Mentors, family members, and others to help support clients in their recovery
    • Collect and review referral information upon assignment of clients from the referral source and consult with others as needed to support coordination of services and scheduling of client interviews
    • Coordinate with the Intake Coordinator as needed to contact clients to confirm appointment dates, times, and assessment locations
    • Collect information from collateral resources to aid in determining diagnosis and need for treatment
    • Remain in compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, including all of the agencies policies and procedures and Quality Assurance Plan, and State Licensing standards
    • Participate in all assigned meetings, staff development, and training as required

    Requirements:

    • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field plus one year of clinical experience in an alcohol or other drugs (AOD) or mental health setting preferred;
    • Active licensure by the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapy Board or the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board
    • Strong interpersonal and engagement skills
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong computer skills required; experience with documentation in EMR
    • Ability to support the agency’s mission and philosophy, and demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity and workplace harmony
    • Value for and ability to deliver excellent customer service
