Disaster Recovery Director leads the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Disaster Recovery Director leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Director supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to top management. The Disaster Recovery Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Disaster Recovery Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Position Summary:

    • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
    • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. 
    • Promotes and supports interventions to ensure patient's rights are protected, acting as an advocate for patients and their families.
    • Embraces and actively engages in ongoing efforts to provide optimal customer service to provide immediate resolution of patient/customer concerns and complaints.
    • Demonstrates awareness of ethical/legal issues as applied to patients, self, and others.
    • Articulates and models the values of caring and demonstrates a Patient Centered Focus.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree Required, Graduate of a School of Nursing program.
    • Licenses: Current license as an RN in New Mexico or compact license required.
    • Bachelor’s degree Preferred, Master's degree Preferred.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
    • Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred.
    • ACLS is required for all areas where moderate sedation is performed.
    • New Hires: Required certification must be obtained within 90 days for BLS, PALS within 6 months and ACLS within one year of employment/transfer.
    • If currently certified, must maintain current certification. Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
    • Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
