Disaster Recovery Director leads the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Disaster Recovery Director leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Director supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to top management. The Disaster Recovery Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Disaster Recovery Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Area Substance Abuse Council (ASAC) assists individuals with substance use or problem gambling to find compassionate and successful prevention, treatment and recovery services. ASAC staff get to work directly with patients on their path to recovery, and levels of staff are supported with ongoing training, development, and growth opportunities!


    We are seeking Recovery Support Professionals (RSP) for our locations in Clinton. The RSP role has a starting pay of $15.08 an hour and staff are eligible for evening, overnights and weekend shift differentials. We are hiring for our Hightower Place program, which houses adult women and their children, and for the King House program which houses adult men.


    as a Recovery Support Professional you will;

    • Provide a consistent level of supervision for patients outside patient treatment sessions.
    • Document observations in the patient’s case files and complete all other forms as required.
    • Lead skill development and educational sessions with patients as needed.
    • Ensure that the medication storage area is secured and that patients are monitored when they take medications.
    • Conduct patient urinalyses following the agency policies and procedures.
    • Assist patients in on-site games, crafts, or recreation activities and transport (if need be) patients to off-site recreational areas (campouts, movie theater, YWCA, etc.) according to the weekly treatment schedule.
    • Provide patient transportation as needed to meetings, appointments and medical treatment.
    • Assist patients in cleaning and maintaining all areas of the facility.
    • Monitor facility security systems to ensure all patients/visitors are in appropriate areas at appropriate times, maintain key control, and ensure the building is locked as required.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality, in accordance with HIPAA and 42CFR

    Requirements

    Recovery Support Professionals must have a high school diploma/GED. Candidates with an education in a human service field, a Professional Certificate and/or experience in a residential treatment environment are strongly encouraged to apply. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass an extensive background check.


    Salary and Benefits:

    ASAC offers a competitive compensation with a starting pay of $15.08 an hour and staff are eligible for evening, overnights and weekend shift differentials.
