Disaster Recovery Director leads the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Disaster Recovery Director leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Director supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to top management. The Disaster Recovery Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Disaster Recovery Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     ```Responsibilities```
    - Assist with daily personal care needs such as bathing and dressing, giving medication reminders, providing rides to and from appointments, assistance with cooking and household chores, shift documentation and team communication.
    - Provide one-on-one support to individuals with acquired brain injuries in their homes.
    - Collaborate with the team to develop and implement behavior management plans
    - Support clients in accessing necessary resources and services
    - Assist with conflict management and resolution
    - Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times
    - Participate in team meetings and trainings as required

    ```Qualifications```
    - paid training for acquired brain injury provider and recovery assistant is provided.
    - First aid certification is preferred
    - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism

    - Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques is a plus
    - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

    -must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check.
