Disaster Recovery Director leads the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Disaster Recovery Director leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Director supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to top management. The Disaster Recovery Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Disaster Recovery Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Responsibilities:

    • First Responder: You'll be one of the first on the scene, providing immediate services like securing the affected property and guiding owners through the restoration process.
    • Restoration Expert: Directly offer ServiceMaster Restoration Services to both residential and commercial clients impacted by water, fire, smoke, mold, and other environmental damages.
    • Lead Generator and Closer: You'll identify prospects through direct assessment of emergency events and convert leads into customers via in-person interactions, phone calls, and written communication.
    • Keep your finger on the pulse: Keep an eye on local, regional, and national emergencies to generate new sales opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • Communication and Empathy: Essential for understanding client needs and closing sales.
    • Proven Sales Background: Demonstrated ability to close deals. (Outside Sales, B2B, D2D)
    • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM and MS Office is a must.
    • Disciplined Self-Starters: Keep track of your schedule and activities.
    • Valid Driver’s License: Must have a good driving record.
    • Industry Experience: Prior experience in construction and restoration-related sales is a plus.
