Disaster Recovery Director leads the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Disaster Recovery Director leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Director supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to top management. The Disaster Recovery Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Disaster Recovery Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Residential Alcohol and Drug Technician - Swing Shift

  • The Road to Recovery is seeking a Residential Drug and Alcohol Technician to join our team. We are a Joint Commission Accredited drug and alcohol rehabilitation and treatment facility with locations in Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley, CA.

    Drug and Alcohol Technician Position Summary:

    Provide technician services for clients exhibiting drug abuse and/or alcohol related disorders in Detox and Residential levels of care. See below for duties -

    Technician Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Adheres to all confidentiality rules and regulations
    • Adheres to safety policies and procedures
    • Assure client rights are upheld
    • Enthusiastically takes clients on fun outings and group activities
    • Transports clients to and from sober living homes, various appointments and treatment programming as needed
    • Monitors self-administered medication procedures and administration
    • Assists with weekly drug and alcohol screening, entering results in electronic medical records
    • Facilitate, educate, and assist clients with house cleaning tasks / chores as directed by supervisor
    • Perform rounds i.e. vitals, CIWA/COWS, face-to-face observation

    Technician Qualifications (not an exhaustive list) :

    • Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician Certification required
    • Knowledgeable of ethics & HIPAA guidelines. (confidentiality) required
    • Valid drivers license required
    • Experience working in the recovery/drug and alcohol treatment industry preferred not required
    • Working knowledge of KIPU electronic health record system preferred not required
    • Minimum 6 months of sobriety (if applicable)

    Details

    Pay Rate: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience and education

    Job Hours: 32-40 hours per week

    License/Credentials & Experience:

    • Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician Certification required
    • CPR and First-Aid Certification required
    • Experience working in the recovery/drug and alcohol treatment industry preferred not required
    • Experience with the recovery field, including but not limited to - 12 step experience/knowledge, drug and alcohol treatment experience/knowledge, education in the field of addiction and/or mental health preferred not required

    Work Location:

    • Multiple locations (Huntington Beach & Fountain Valley, CA)
