Disaster Recovery Director leads the development of a comprehensive business continuity strategy and programs, plans, and toolsets that support response, develop resiliency, and enable recovery from events that disrupt business operations. Establishes a framework and methodology to manage all business continuity life cycle activities, including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, implementation, testing and review, plan maintenance and updates. Being a Disaster Recovery Director leads periodic review, validation, and workflow testing of documented business continuity plans. Develops and implements organization-wide training and communications. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Director supports internal audits and regulatory exams of compliance with required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar BCP certification. Typically reports to top management. The Disaster Recovery Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Disaster Recovery Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Symetria Recovery provides comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a focus on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in a welcoming outpatient setting. Unlimited clinical services are available to our patients under our bundled-service delivery model. Key services delivered through our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) licensure include MAT, medically monitored psychiatric care, individual therapy, group therapy (IOP), 6-day-per-week nursing care, and ongoing aftercare. Most of our patients being provided medication receive Buprenorphine products, but they can also receive Methadone, injectables (Vivitrol, Sublocade), and any other FDA-approved medication for addiction.

    What you will do:

    • Provide a leading role in treatment decisions by working closely with the Medical Provider, clinical staff, and Program Director.
    • The Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered nurse is responsible for dispensing medications and ensuring the appropriate medical care is administered for patients in recovery.
    • Daily interactions with patients to provide support while assisting to improve their health and well-being.
    • Monitors patient’s vital signs for dose changes and other physical health information, maintains accurate records reflecting data, including general information relating to treatment results.
    • Collects blood samples from patients and monitors and attends to the physical needs of the patient.
    • Administers injectable medications, ensuring accurate prescribed dosage and timely delivery, educating clients in management of side effects, and obtaining pre-authorization of prescriptions/medications from pharmacy, when needed.
    • Administers and reads PPD, pregnancy tests, tuberculosis screening tests, and drug screens on patients and documents results.
    • Maintains accurate inventory counts of all medicines and medical supplies and ensures adequate replacements are ordered on a timely basis, as well as reconciling inventory of Methadone, Suboxone, and Subutex at conclusion of dosing.
    • Follows all Symetria policies, state regulations, federal guidelines, and DEA regulations.
    • Employee is expected to perform all duties in accordance to work schedule and as assigned.

    Who you are:

    • Must have a current and valid LVN or RN license with no restrictions and licensed within the state of Texas.
    • 1-year experience as an LVN or RN required
    • Eighteen months of education or training beyond the high school level in Nursing or related field of study required; graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
    • Experience dispensing, handling, ordering, and stocking medications, required.
    • Experience working as an LVN or RN in a substance abuse treatment(preferably MAT) or behavioral health setting, required
    • Experience using KIPU or other EMR, required
    • Knowledge of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, required.
    • Knowledge of recovery process and terminology, preferred
    • Flexible with your availability. The hours for the position will be Monday-Friday 5:30am to 2pm CST & rotating Saturdays from 7am to 9am CST.
