Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Disaster Recovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Recovery Cafe Muncie is a small Nonprofit recovery space in downtown Muncie, IN. We are an inclusive, healing community where we believe we are all recovering from something. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about recovery, inclusivity, and empowerment. Our Cafe Managers oversee café operations, support our front door area, provide peer support, and supervise our Member Leader Program and Peer Recovery Coach program.
Part time: 20-24 hours/week
Day shift: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
Job Summary:
· Oversee Café Space
o Communicate and enforce Café guidelines, guiding principles and boundaries.
o Monitor guest behaviors to ensure the Café is creating a safe space for all.
o Coordinate and facilitate café activities (games, discussions, art projects).
o Oversight of meal prep, service, and clean-up.
o Oversight of Café Closet & Pantry
· Oversee Café front reception area
o Ensure reception provides radical hospitality by warmly greeting each Member and guest.
o Enforce loving accountability & membership structure.
o Provide guests with a warm handoff to a Café Companion.
o Actively record Member and guest (community volunteers, interns & visitors) attendance.
· Train, Supervise, and Support Members and Member Leaders
o Facilitate or coordinate weekly New Member Introductions.
o Identify and train Member Leaders.
o Coordinate and facilitate monthly meetings with Member Leaders.
o Supervise Member Leaders to ensure roles are fulfilled.
o Supervise Senior Member Leaders’ Peer Recovery Coaching.
· Provide peer support through program delivery
o Assist members with creating and implementing a person-centered recovery plan.
o Pair members with appropriate Peer Recovery Coaches to provide 1:1 recovery support.
o Identify and develop methods to assist with removing barriers to recovery.
o Develop empowerment and self-efficacy of Members to build recovery capital.
· Actively engage with the Recovery Café team.
o Attend Weekly 1:1 Supervision with Executive Director.
o Attend Weekly Staff Meeting & Recovery Circles.
o Participate in required staff trainings.
