Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Disaster Recovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Case Manager - Men's recovery housing

  • Home of New Vision (HNV) is a substance use treatment and recovery services agency with locations in Ann Arbor, Jackson and Ypsilanti, Michigan.

    HNV is seeking a peer care navigator to work with men that are living in Recovery Residences. These clients use medication to assist in recovery from substance use disorder. This position requires a person who is eager to mentor men in early recovery, who enjoys having a varied work experiance and likes being part of a team.

    Job Responsibilities include:

    • Screening for admission
    • Admission and orientation for new residents
    • Documentation in the residents’ record
    • Collection of fees
    • House checks
    • House meetings and resident check ins
    • Assisting with obtaining bus passes and other necessary services
    • Limited driving of clients for job search and medical appointments
    • Supervision of medication
    • Coordination with medication treatment providers
    • Generally accepted activities of a case manager

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Have lived experience
    • Have at least 2 years continuous recovery from an opiate use disorder or other SUD
    • Have experience as a case manager or care navigator or as a recovery coach
    • Bachelor degree preferred (or recovery coach certification and experiance)
    • Support multiple pathways to recovery and medication assisted treatment as a pathway to recovery
    • Be able to be flexible to accommodate client schedules and on call shifts
