Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Duties:

- DEFINITION: Disaster Case Management Specialist
This position provides direct case management services to disaster survivors and their families through advocacy, information and referral, crisis intervention services, and recovery services. The DCMP provides long-term case management services to survivors of the Kern County Flood.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
The Catholic Charities Diocese of Fresno (CCDOF) is a community benefit organization serving families living within the Diocese of Fresno who are in need of food, clothing, housing, and other related support services. The worksite will be at the Bakersfield DCMP office, servicing Kern County, and is one of several organizational divisions and units within the CCDOF agency.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
● Bachelor’s Degree preferred with at least three years of progressive work experience in a closely related field (e.g., Social work, Community Outreach and Advocacy, In-depth Customer Service) or Associates with five years’ experience in related field;
● Previous disaster experience preferred.
● Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
● Ability to work as a positive, enthusiastic member of a team.
● Excellent organizational skills, ability to reliably meet all deadlines, and transparent with management about all ongoing cases or issues.
● Ability to use de-escalation techniques and trauma informed care to work with individuals and families that may be experiencing a crisis.
● Knowledge and/or familiarity of harm reduction and motivational interviewing concepts and strategies. Previous experience assessing and referring individuals to various community resources, a plus.
