Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Disaster Recovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary

    The Construction Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all administrative processes and duties assigned to their role and specific to construction jobs are taking place in a timely, efficient, and quality manner.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    Daily
    • Review project task worklog for any jobs that have moved into Final Review or Final Walk Through.
    • Review the Job File Audit section of project task worklog to ensure that dispatched construction jobs are meeting upload criteria in a timely manner. The Construction Coordinator must have consistent communication with construction team members to ensure timely uploads or extensions occur to prevent the delay of jobs.
    • Ensuring company guidelines are followed for all uploads, and completed in a timely manner.
    • Creating “Project Management Packets” to assist Project Managers in job preparation and maintenance.
    • Sending work orders to various sub-contractors.
    • Assists Project Managers in placing standard or special orders by matching appropriate contents or materials needed for jobs.
    Additional Tasks

    • Attend and actively participate in the weekly Construction Team Meetings. Additional tasks may include taking meeting minutes and sending meeting invites to additional team members.
    • Verify the status and budget of all word orders. Notations must be made in the work orders to changes to budget, line items, etc.
    • Ensure the storage area is cleaned and organized; this includes adding new samples and disposing of old samples as needed.
    • Responsible for updating the sample catalog sheet for any changes.
    • Responsible for coordinating all returns of construction supplies.
    Requirements:

    • 2 year(s) of administrative or office-related experience; previous construction and restoration experience preferred.
    • Experience in service industry environment a plus
    • QuickBooks experience required
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar
    • Possess polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills
    • Ability to remain calm and professional during tense or stressful situations
    • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
    • Very self-motivated and goal-oriented
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong know knowledge of Excel
    • Ability to learn new software, including Restoration Management (RM)
    • Experience in Gantt Chart Scheduling preferred
    • Able to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
