Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Job Summary: This position requires extensive knowledge and sales experience in the environmental hazardous waste industry. This job requires in-person meetings at customer’s sites, contact via the telephone, email, and video conferencing as well as the use of CRM software. This position focuses on selling and servicing both large direct accounts and indirect accounts. A company vehicle or allowance is provided for this job and an extensive amount of travel is required for this job.
Primary Duties: The main responsibilities of an Executive Account Manager, revolve around the ability to utilize in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, video conferencing and the use of CRM to build relationships with both potential and existing accounts to utilize Giant Resource Recovery waste services.
Frequent Tasks (Weekly/Monthly/Annually): Annually provide a budget and presentation at the annual Commercial Team Meeting. Attend monthly meetings which will include but not limited to: Accounts Receivable Calls, Monthly Team calls, and weekly meetings as required. The frequent use of CRM is also required and expected each week.
