Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Lead Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for leading a team of restoration technicians in restoring and repairing damaged properties caused by fire, water, or other disasters. Your main goal will be to ensure that the properties are restored to their pre-loss condition and to provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire restoration process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of restoration technicians in responding to emergency calls and providing immediate assistance to mitigate further damage.
- Assess the extent of damage and develop a restoration plan, delegating tasks to team members accordingly.
- Remove debris and damaged materials from the property and supervise the team's progress.
- Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification to prevent mold growth, overseeing the team's efforts.
- Clean and sanitize affected areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment, guiding the team in proper procedures.
- Repair and restore damaged structures, including carpentry, drywall, and painting, while supervising the team's workmanship.
- Install new materials and fixtures as needed, ensuring quality and adherence to restoration standards.
- Coordinate with other team members and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects, providing guidance and support.
- Communicate effectively with property owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Document all restoration activities and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
-MUST HAVE a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in restoration or construction, with leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of restoration techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
-IIRC certifications are a plus but not required.
- Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
- Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day

Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay ranging from $25 to $30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment.
- After-hours, on-call, and category 3 pay is double time with $100 bonus per job.
