Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Organ Recovery Coordinator (ORC) position involves the fulfillment of both on-call responsibilities and office time related to identification, evaluation, management, and coordination of donor activity.
This position has 3 career levels, with increased knowledge required at each level. All applicants are hired at a Level I or II position. Those with more experience can advance the levels faster while meeting the goals of each level. Applicants with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

Where a candidate’s compensation falls within this range is based on several bona fide factors such as experience, tenure, and other specialized knowledge. This position is eligible for additional compensation to the base pay rate, in the form of Extra Call Pay, Extra Call Worked, and Holiday Stipend Pay.
