Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Disaster Recovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We provide restoration services – such as emergency response, emergency pre-planning, construction services, catastrophe response, contents restoration, environmental services, mold remediation, fire and smoke damage, and water damage services – to commercial, insurance and residential clients. We provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

    About the Contents Cleaning Technician Position:

    Contents Cleaning Technician will work in conjunction with other emergency service technicians, carpenters, painters, laborers, and subcontractors. This position entails jobs ranging from general contracting, emergency restoration services resultant from Water, Mold, Fire, Biohazard, including clean-up work, pack in and pack out services, and labor on any projects.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    1. Under the guidance of the Project Manager, manage pack in and pack outs including monitoring
      all company, temporary, or subcontractors on the projects. Ensure that property is treated with
      respect and that all personnel on the jobsite are adhering to company policies and procedures.
    2. Manage the inventorying of contents including monitoring affiliates and company employees on
      your projects. Create a complete inventory of restored and non-restorable items.
    3. Manage the cleaning of contents both on and off site.
    4. Monitor and inspect all offsite storage units to ensure that contents are safe, dry, and being
      stored properly in temperature-controlled units.
    5. Photograph all pre-existing conditions and all phases of the loss, uploading the photos from the
      jobsite.
    6. Manage customer’s content needs throughout the life of the reconstruction work, including but
      not limited to finding and returning documents or items.
    7. Available for on-call duties as scheduled or requested. Must be available for extended work
      hours as required.
    8. Make a positive impression on both the customers and the community at large with an everyday
      understanding you may be meeting with a potential customer. Our work comes from the

    9. Maintain the appearance and operation of personal and company tools as well as the company
      vehicle you drive. The company truck must be clean, organized, adequately stocked, and
      properly maintained.

        Job Requirements:

        • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required
        • Good communication skills
        • Task and detailed oriented
        • Self- motivated and highly organized
        • Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis.
        • Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record maintained.
        • Satisfactory background check

        Working Conditions:
        Working conditions are normal for a construction environment but may include hazardous locations that
        require strict adherence to the company safety manual. Work frequently requires climbing and working
        in high places. Work requires significant local travel and may require occasional overnight travel and
        weekend and/or evening work.

        Physical Requirements:
        The employee is frequently required to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs. of
        products and materials. The employee is frequently required to crawl, bend and stoop, and frequently
        required to drive up to 40-mile radius from office to clients' homes and company facilities. The
        employee is frequently required to lift and climb a 32-foot ladder.
