Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Disaster Recovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Colonial Behavioral Health provides opportunities for recovery to individuals and their family members in the areas of mental illness, substance use disorder, and developmental disabilities. Colonial Behavioral Health serves the citizens of James City County, City of Poquoson, City of Williamsburg, and York County.

    We are currently recruiting for a Case Manager-SA Recovery position within our Adult Outpatient program. This position works with individuals with substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring serious mental illness to access needed services and supports necessary to meeting basic needs. 


    Job Duties

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develops an Individualized Service Plan (ISP) based on assessment information in collaboration with the individual receiving services, and, when appropriate, family or significant others
    • Responsible for coordinating services and service planning with other providers within CBH and with other agencies and private providers, such as peer recovery organizations, vocational programs, counselors, medical professionals, etc. and obtains clinical documentation from other providers to ensure continuity of care. 
    • Completes detox and SUD residential treatment assessments, links individuals to these programs, and provides SUD discharge planning services for their release. 
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Work Schedule

    Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm;  

    Evening & Weekend hours may be required based on program needs.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Must have knowledge of effective treatment strategies for linking individuals with Substance Use Disorder & co-occurring disorders to appropriate resources.  
    • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
    • Ability to assist consumers in problem solving and utilize creative approaches when appropriate.
    • One year of work experience with individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder required.  
    • Valid driver’s license is required.  
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a human services or related field required.
    • Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-A) preferred
    DMV record must be submitted with application.
