Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. RECOVERY SPECIALIST
Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has an opening for a Recovery Specialist. This position provides support services to consumers residing in the community or in a permanent housing setting of a supported housing program. Services include placement, landlord negotiations, financial assistance, crisis intervention and basic living skills training and support in the least restrictive environment. Services are designed to promote independent living and mental health stability.
Education:
Bachelor's degree is required. Human Services related field preferred. Education must be from an accredited school, college, or university.
Experience:
Minimum of one year experience working with the severely mentally ill, community services and resources experience with property management/ tenant-landlord issues preferred
Knowledge:
Knowledge of counseling techniques and mental illness.
Skills & Abilities:
Good skills and demonstrated abilities in verbal and written communications, coordination/cooperation, follow-through, interpersonal relations, attention to detail, use of basic language and math, following verbal and written procedures and instructions, recording information orally and in writing, internal and external public relations, working independently, verbal and physical crisis intervention techniques, planning, problem solving, negotiating, flexibility to change, decision making, scheduling own and others' work, counseling techniques and evaluation techniques, organizing own and others' work and such others that are usually and customarily considered necessary for satisfactory completion of essential duties.
