Disaster Recovery Manager manages the design, implementation, and communication of business continuance and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology. Conducts risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Being an Disaster Recovery Manager monitors and tests the plans and back up systems. Manages the contracts with required vendors for off-site and other resources required for business continuation and recovery. Additionally, Disaster Recovery Manager develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Disaster Recovery Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Disaster Recovery Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated Client Advocate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals in substance use and behavioral health, with experience in crisis management and addiction counseling.

    Responsible for fostering client success by maintaining a client-centric approach, serving as a bridge to family involvement, gauging client satisfaction, establishing rapport to prevent Against Clinical Advice (ACA) instances, and ensuring clients successfully transition through the entire continuum of treatment. Additionally, they play a crucial role in supervising the alumni program, actively involving current and past clients in alumni activities, thereby contributing significantly to the efficacy of addiction treatment and supporting long-term recovery.​

    Duties:

    • Greet clients and complete intake
    • Make family contact and build rapport for client success.
    • Provide advocacy and support services to clients in need
    • Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized service plans
    • Assist clients in accessing resources such as sober living housing, resume building, etc.
    • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients and promote positive change
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients
    • Handle crises with professionalism and empathy
    • Carry out other responsibilities as delegated. ​​
    • Maintain professional standards and follow the organization's policies and procedures, including all federal, state, and local regulations. ​​​

    Other duties as assigned.

    Skills, Knowledge, and Abilites:

    • An acute understanding of counseling and other treatment procedures for alcoholism and drug addiction-related problems.​
    • A knowledge of regulations concerning alcoholism and drug addiction treatment.​
    • Knowledge of alcoholism and drug addiction and treatment procedures for such illness.​
    • Manages tasks and has strong interpersonal skills.​
    • Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical skills.​
    • Able to work independently.​
    • Communicates effectively (both written and verbal) with customers and colleagues.​
    • Organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, adaptable, positive.​

    Proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.​

    Qualifications:
    - RADT certification preferred
    - Familiarity with addiction counseling principles and crisis management techniques
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred experience requirements may be satisfied through professional experience as determined by Human Resources at the time of hiring.

    • Minimum of 1 years experience in Substance Abuse and/or Behavioral Health settings preferred​
    • Knowledgeable of state licensing agency guidelines· ​
    • Must be familiar with 12 12-step recovery programs​
    • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records​
    • Tuberculosis testing if required by the state. ​​
