Location: WK Pierremont Department: Health Information Management - Health Information Mgt Classification: Full-Time Shift: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Date Posted: 5/1/2024 Description: The Health Information Management Department is seeking an experienced release of information team member to add to our fast-paced office.

The discharge specialist will work under the Assistant Director and should be qualified to perform tasks such as, but not limited to: ROI, filing and locating charts, answer telephone requests, retrieving charts from other departments, and any duties commensurate with their ability as requested by the supervisor.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate effective communication skills, initiative to work independently, and capable of multitasking in a fast paced and changing environment. Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

Upon hiring, the applicant will be required to attend an orientation session prior to beginning work in the department.
