Job Overview:

As a Home Care Aide, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration
- Provide direct support to clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Follow all resident rights protocols and ensure client privacy and confidentiality
- Provide patient care in accordance with established care plans
- Support clients receiving hospice care

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medication administration and ability to follow medication schedules
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques and strategies
- Understanding of direct support principles and practices
- Ability to provide compassionate care to seniors and individuals with varying needs
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
