Wallowa County Grain Growers is offering an exciting opportunity for a full-time Heating and Cooling Department Manager to join our HVAC Department. The HVAC Department Manager will be responsible for leading a team of technicians to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality service possible. This position will ensure proper installation, diagnosing and repair of HVAC systems in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure clients understand their HVAC system needs and solutions.
- Follow all state, and federal HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair regulations.
- Lead a team of HVAC technicians to ensure efficient and timely completion of installation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Monitor and control billable as well as non-billable time, travel time, and time off.
- Create accurate job estimates.
- Directly manage technicians. This includes training employees, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, approving timesheets, and addressing complaints.
- Coordinate team member activities to ensure individual and team goals are consistently achieved.
- Promote and deliver the highest quality of safety standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC service management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with and lead a team.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Understanding of operational concepts including planning, scheduling, and logistics
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft office, including Word and Excel
- Successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and Background check.
