Discount Brokerage Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of a discount brokerage. Ensures that brokerage operations adhere to the organization's financial and business strategies. Being a Discount Brokerage Operations Manager monitors the purchase and sale of securities for clients at discounted commissions. Knowledge, skills and responsibilities:
Communicate with the branch manager, team members, and vendors to ensure proper scheduling of order and delivery and inventory of products
Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
Track staffing requirements, support in hiring new employees as needed
Lead, motivate, and support your team
Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications:
2 years’ proven experience in an operations management position
Ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
