Discount Brokerage Sales Representative jobs in Anaheim, CA
Discount Brokerage Sales Representative is responsible for the timely buying and selling of securities for clients at discounted commissions. Ensures accuracy of transactions and keeps abreast of market conditions. Being a Discount Brokerage Sales Representative typically does not make investment recommendations unless client holds advised account or other fee-based product. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area and may require state licensure. Additionally, Discount Brokerage Sales Representative requires NASD series 7 license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Discount Brokerage Sales Representative occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. • Process accounts payable invoices
• Prepare and process vendor payments via ACH and/or check
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Communicate with retail team and vendors regarding invoice discrepancies
• Assist accounting team with additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience preferred
• Understanding of Accounting Principles
• Good organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel
