Discount Brokerage Sales Representative is responsible for the timely buying and selling of securities for clients at discounted commissions. Ensures accuracy of transactions and keeps abreast of market conditions. Being a Discount Brokerage Sales Representative typically does not make investment recommendations unless client holds advised account or other fee-based product. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area and may require state licensure. Additionally, Discount Brokerage Sales Representative requires NASD series 7 license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Discount Brokerage Sales Representative occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with clients
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM systems to track sales activities and manage customer relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation
Experience:
- Proven experience in business development and outside sales
- Strong ability to analyze market trends and identify potential sales opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal)
- Proficient in using CRM software, such as Salesforce, to manage sales activities
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
